About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant to join our Executive Assistants Team. This will be a full-time permanent position supporting members of the Executive and Senior Leadership Team.

As an Executive Assistant you will provide high-level professional and organisational support ensuring the smooth and effective management of executive priorities. You will act as an ambassador for the Council delivering excellent customer service and building positive relationships with senior officers Elected Members and a wide range of stakeholders. Working in a dynamic environment you will coordinate diaries meetings and communications while managing competing priorities and maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism.

About the candidate:

Were looking for an organised proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.

You will have:

  • Experience providing high-quality administrative or executive support.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing complex diaries and coordinating meetings.
  • The ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • A professional and discreet approach when handling confidential information.
