Job Summary
- Executive & Diary Management:
- Manage complex diaries for senior directors.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings appointments and events.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and prioritize attendance.

- Organize and support meetings prepare agendas and circulate documentation.
- Attend meetings take accurate minutes and track action items.

- Monitor and prioritize Directors inboxes.
- Draft and manage correspondence on behalf of Directors.

- Provide administrative support to the Housing Directorate.
- Assist with document preparation and reporting.

- HR & Workforce Administration:
- Support employee administration processes including leave management and recruitment.

- Financial & Procurement Support:
- Assist with procurement processes and invoice management.

- Build relationships with senior managers elected members and external partners.

- Support service improvement initiatives and ensure efficient service delivery.

- Extensive experience in executive or senior-level administrative support.

- Previous experience in local authority or council settings.
- Experience supporting Directors or Senior Leadership Teams.
- Background in Housing Repairs Property Maintenance or Compliance Services.
- Familiarity with finance procurement recruitment and HR administration processes.
- Essential: Good standard of education including English and Mathematics.
- Desirable: Qualification in Business Administration or related field.
- Essential: Understanding of executive support functions and office administration.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Local Government structures and Housing services.
- Essential: Experience supporting senior managers and managing complex schedules.
- Desirable: Experience in local authority settings and supporting senior leadership teams.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- This is a temporary 3-month contract.
- Hybrid working arrangement with a minimum of 3 office days per week.
- Previous local authority experience is highly desirable.
