Engineering Process & Governance Manager

As we continue to transform and evolve our product development capability we are seeking an Engineering Process & Governance Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Product Creation Process and delivering world-class vehicle programmes.

This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and implementation of Aston Martins new Product Creation Process (PCP) establishing an industry-leading framework that supports the successful delivery of future vehicle and platform programmes. Working at the heart of the business you will bring together cross-functional stakeholders to create a clear robust and efficient approach to programme delivery reducing time to market and ensuring excellence from concept through to launch.

As Engineering Process & Governance Manager you will lead the development of the Aston Martin PCP and its scaled variants ensuring the process is aligned to industry best practice while remaining tailored to the specific needs of our business. Through benchmarking competitor insight and collaboration with key stakeholders you will establish a clear framework of deliverables governance and cross-functional dependencies that support successful programme execution.

You will oversee all aspects of Product Creation governance including gateways project reviews and cross-functional decision-making forums. Central to the role will be the management and evolution of the Product Creation Circle ensuring effective cadence alignment documentation and approval processes across the organisation.

Working closely with teams across Engineering and the wider business you will develop and embed standardised processes documentation and evidential requirements that support quality consistency and accountability throughout the product creation lifecycle. You will also drive the development of programme KPI reporting and dashboards providing clear visibility of programme health delivery status financial performance engineering releases sourcing activities feature maturity and overall readiness against key milestones.

In addition you will ensure Engineering Business Office procedures and reporting standards remain aligned with company quality requirements while leading the successful rollout communication and training of new ways of working across the organisation. As a people leader you will manage and develop the Process team fostering a culture of continuous improvement collaboration and delivery excellence.

To be successful you will bring extensive experience of automotive product creation gained within an OEM consultancy or similarly complex engineering environment. You will have a strong track record of driving business process improvement and implementing governance frameworks that deliver measurable results. Experience of leading cross-functional teams influencing senior stakeholders and embedding structured processes within a fast-paced product development environment will be essential.

You will be a highly organised and analytical leader with excellent attention to detail strong decision-making capability and the confidence to present complex information clearly and effectively. Alongside your technical knowledge you will bring the resilience enthusiasm and passion to inspire others and drive transformational change across the organisation.
