As we deliver our ambitious2030 Growth Strategy were looking for a Mechanical this role you will provide essential technical expertise to our mechanical engineering team and the wider site ensuring the integrity and reliability of our assets while driving continuous improvement through sound engineering principles. We are looking for an energetic team player who thrives in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
For the avoidance of doubt we are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer preferably with design experience not a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.

WhoWere Looking For:
Education &Experience: Minimum HNC/HND inMechanical Engineering with proven experience in heavy process industries(e.g. Oil & Gas Petrochemical or Chemical).
Design Proficiency: Highly skilled in AutoCAD 2D/3D with afocus on translating complex requirements into accurate technical models.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of pressure system standards(ASME B31.3 ASME VIII PD5500) and UK legislation (PSSR/PESR 2016).
Problem Solving: Experienced in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) andfailure analysis to drive long-term reliability.
Communication: A natural relationship-builder able to bridge thegap between internal operations and external partners.
WhatYoull Be Doing:
PlantDesign: Manage the full design lifecyclefrom initial concept to construction. You willdevelop 3D piping and equipment models integrate laser-scan data and producehigh-quality isometrics and GA drawings.
PlantIntegrity: Collaborate across engineering functions to optimise plant reliabilityoperability and safety.
ProjectOversight: Lead small-scale projects through to commissioning and provide mechanicalexpertise for major capital investments (FEED and detailed design).
OperationalEfficiency: Partner with maintenance teams to perform RCAs on equipment failures andimplement engineering solutions that prevent recurrence.
Compliance& Change: Support Management of Change (MOC) activities contribute to riskassessments and help define site-wide mechanical and integrity standards.
