About the Role
This is more than an employability role this is a role that changes lives.
As an Engage 2 Employ Coach you will empower young people to overcome barriers to employment education and training helping them develop the confidence skills and resilience they need to achieve long-term success.
Youll also play a vital role within our Youth Engagement Space creating a welcoming inclusive and inspiring environment where young people can access support develop new skills build positive relationships and explore opportunities for their future.
Working as part of a dynamic creative team that operates across St Basils services youll collaborate with colleagues to design engaging activities deliver innovative programmes and respond flexibly to the diverse needs of the young people we support. Together youll create opportunities that encourage participation raise aspirations and help young people realise their potential.

Every year we support more than 4000 young people across Birmingham Sandwell Solihull Warwickshire Worcestershire Wyre Forest and Coventry.
Through our prevention accommodation and support services we help young people build the stability skills and confidence they need to move towards independent living education training and employment breaking the cycle of homelessness and creating brighter futures.
Each year more than 1000 young people are supported in our 45 accommodation schemes including some young parents and their children.
Alongside our regional services St Basils works nationally with young people and partners through our Youth Voice programme and our Positive Pathway Framework helping to influence and improve services across the country.
