Job Description
Contract Electronics Technician Cheltenham Immediate Start
Im currently recruiting for a Contract Electronics Technician on behalf of a specialist defence technology company based in Cheltenham.
This is a hands-on role supporting the assembly testing and development of secure ruggedised electronic systems used within defence applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electronics assembly and integration
- PCB soldering and rework
- Functional testing and diagnostics
- Fault-finding and troubleshooting
- Prototype builds and development support
- Working from schematics and technical documentation
Required Experience:
- PCB assembly and soldering
- Electronic fault diagnosis and testing
- Reading and interpreting schematics
- Use of electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes multimeters etc.)
- Previous experience in electronics manufacturing production or development environments
Rate: 1525 per hour (depending on experience)
