Full Time Permanent Static Site
Atlas Workplace Services is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our on-site engineering team at Brindley Place Birmingham.
This is a static site role responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a prestigious commercial property. While the role has a strong electrical bias the successful candidate will be comfortable supporting a range of general building services maintenance activities and working collaboratively within a multi-skilled engineering team.
You will play a key role in ensuring the safe efficient and compliant operation of the building delivering exceptional service standards and maintaining excellent relationships with client stakeholders.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities in line with contractual requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Undertake minor works and repairs across electrical and building services systems.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely efficiently and to a high standard.
- Provide technical support advice and guidance to clients customers and colleagues.
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with the site team and client representatives.
- Support the delivery of a first-class facilities maintenance service with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Produce accurate information relating to labour materials and resource requirements for minor works quotations.
- Liaise with Lead Engineers Managers Support Teams and specialist subcontractors to ensure works are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Accurately update the Maximo CAFM system and ensure all work activities are correctly recorded.
- Build strong working relationships with clients contractors and colleagues across the site.
- Take ownership of work quality and continually strive to improve service delivery.
- Participate in the sites out-of-hours call-out rota when required.
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications
- City & Guilds BS7671 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspect Electrical Qualification or equivalent (Desirable)
- Full DrivingLicense
- Good understanding of modern office software. Experience of working with asset/work management systems such as MAXIMO / CAFM systems on Android tablets.
- 2 years previous experience within similar environment and in particular across area multi sites and multi discipline service delivery.
- 1 years experience in customer facing outsourcing environment.
- Ability to manage priorities in line with business need
