Were looking for an experienced Team Leader with proven management experience to join Field Studies Council Nettlecombe this senior role youll manage and mentor a passionate education team oversee curriculum delivery and contribute to the strategic management of the centre alongside the Centre Manager.

• Permanent full-time contract average 37.5 hours per week

• Weekly hours may vary - more during busy periods less during quieter times.

• Starting salary is circa 33357per annum

Youwill:

• Lead and manage the education team providing guidance mentoring performance management and professional development.

• Develop plan and oversee the delivery of high-quality curriculum-linked learning experiences that increase students understanding of nature and the environment.

• Support the Centre Manager in running the day-to-day operations of the centre and contribute to strategic planning.

• Participate in some hands-on teaching in the field working with students of all ages on a variety of science and geography programmes.

• Bepart of our duty rota whichwill involve staying on site on some evenings and overnight to deal with customer issues and respond to emergencies. As a key member of the senior on-call team you will also provide support to other duty staff.

Who were looking for

We are seeking an experienced leader with a proven track record of managing and developing teams with:

• Degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline

• At least 5 years relevant work experience with the confidence to produce and prepare teaching resources activities and lesson plans that meet curricular requirements

You will also have:

• A strong work ethic and pride in the quality of your work

• A flexible adaptive approach able to work independently and as part of a team

• A professional manner and empathy with the Field Studies Councils mission

• Commitment to personal development and motivation to take on new challenges
