Location: Hybrid working for up to two days per week at home
Salary: 28178 per annum
Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week

The Role

Were looking for an Editorial Assistant to join our Publications team and work on our internationally renowned veterinary publications. Youll support publications through different stages of the editorial and production process including project administration checking manuscripts and proofs managing permissions and project information and liaising with authors editors colleagues and freelance suppliers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take their first step into a publishing career.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week within the Publications team reporting to the Head of Publishing.

Skills and Experience

You dont need previous publishing experience to apply. Were looking for someone with excellent attention to detail strong communication and organisational skills and the ability to manage their own workload effectively.

Experience of publishing copy-editing or proofreading would be an advantage as would a degree in life or health sciences. Good Microsoft Office skills and confidence working with a range of colleagues authors and editors would also be beneficial.
