A high-performing Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary school in Hammersmith is seeking a versatile and passionate Design & Technology Teacher with expertise in both Resistant Materials and Food Technology.
This role offers the opportunity to join a modern vibrant department featuring state-of-the-art workshops fully-equipped food preparation suites and a supportive team dedicated to creative subject delivery.
Plan and deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in Resistant Materials and Food Technology (Food Preparation & Nutrition).
Support GCSE students with non-exam assessment (NEA) coursework and practical exam preparation.
Maintain strict health safety and hygiene standards across both workshop environments and food technology rooms.
Inspire students through hands-on learning design thinking and practical problem-solving.
Ofsted Rating: Outstanding in all areas.
State-of-the-art specialist facilities including modern CAD/CAM equipment timber/metal workshops and commercial-standard teaching kitchens.
Strong student engagement and high uptake for DT subjects at GCSE.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS (ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply).
Specialist background or degree in Design & Technology Engineering or Food Science/Nutrition.
Proven experience delivering both Resistant Materials and Food Technology at secondary level.
Valid Food Hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain before start date).
Full right to work in the UK.
