Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to oversee PPM contracts manage remedial works and ensure works are delivered efficiently safely and to a high standard.
This role would suit someone from a facilities management maintenance service management or engineering background who has experience managing contracts coordinating engineers/subcontractors dealing with clients and ensuring remedial works are progressed through to completion and invoiced correctly. Based in either Swindon Reading Milton Keynes Birmingham for ease of travel across the stores.
The Role:
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing PPM contracts turning remedials into actionable works and ensuring accurate timely invoicing.
Duties will include:
Acting as the main point of contact for contract-related matters
Reviewing remedials identified from PPM visits and converting them into actionable job works
Coordinating internal engineers subcontractors and clients to deliver remedial works efficiently
Managing a team of field operatives and engineers including daily coordination task allocation and performance monitoring
Providing leadership support and guidance to the operational team
Conducting regular check-ins performance reviews and supporting training/development where required
Tracking remedial works to ensure completion within agreed timescales and SLAs
Preparing accurate costings and supporting documentation for invoicing
Maintaining records of completed PPMs remedials quotations and invoice submissions
Working closely with accounts and operations teams to ensure smooth communication and service delivery
Supporting wider operations with resource planning where required
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and promoting a safe working culture
Identifying opportunities to improve processes and overall client satisfaction
The Person:
Proven experience in a similar role within maintenance facilities management service management or engineering
Strong understanding of PPM processes remedials and maintenance workflows
Experience managing engineers operatives or subcontractors
Confident with scheduling task management and performance oversight
Strong contract administration skills with a good understanding of contract terms and obligations
Comfortable preparing costings quotations invoicing documentation and maintaining accurate records
Good understanding of software systems used within facilities management
Strong communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with clients engineers subcontractors and internal teams
Highly organised and able to manage multiple workstreams at once
Proactive detail-focused and service-driven
Experience working on multi-site or retail contracts would be beneficial
Background in facilities management or engineering such as NVQ HNC/HND or equivalent would be advantageous
Full UK driving licence
The Package:
Starting salary of 45000
6000 car allowance
Permanent full-time position
Hybrid / primarily remote-based role with site attendance and travel as required
Flexibility to stay away when needed
Occasional weekend or evening work depending on project demands
