Contract Advisor (35hrs weekly contract) UK

Were thrilled to introduce a key role within our Legal and Contracts Department that connects our cutting-edge technology with the regulatory and utility landscape across UK and other EU countries. Curious what this is all about Lets dive right in:

• Negotiate draft and oversee commercial contracts for Sungrows projects in UK and other EMEA regions.
• Support contract activities for the PV and ESS Business Units including framework agreements and sales contracts.
• Review draft and qualify various contractual documents such as General Terms & Conditions and non-disclosure agreements.
• Identify contractual risks and deviations from Sungrows principles securing necessary approvals for major issues.
• Prepare and negotiate contractual qualifications with both new and existing clients.
• Create comprehensive contract and risk summaries to inform project personnel of obligations and objectives.
• Negotiate to resolve contractual and financial disputes on active projects advising commercial managers.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant policies processes and procedures within Sungrows Business Management System.

• Degree in Law or a relevant Business-related qualification.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in the PV Energy Storage or Construction industry.
• Strong commercial focus with a sound knowledge of contract law and proven drafting ability.
• Demonstrated experience working within a Contracts or Legal department.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to build relationships and explain legal concepts to a non-legal audience.
• Pro-active approach to problem-solving capable of constructive challenge and negotiation with stakeholders at all levels.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills accustomed to report writing and presenting.
• English C1; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
