Paediatric Complex Care Assistant (female) Macclesfield
17.76 per hour (including holiday pay) 10-hour day and

Were looking for a caring patient carer to join a small
team supporting a young child who needs specialised care. Because of that care
this child can be at home with the people who love them rather than in
hospital.
Youll be there for the everyday moments: bath time
cuddles play bedtime routines and the milestones in between. Youll also give
the family peace of mind knowing their child is in safe hands while they rest
work or spend time together.
The role
The child has a tracheostomy and requires oxygen. Youll
receive full training in their care with 24/7 clinical support whenever you
need it. Working alongside the family and the childs healthcare professionals
youll keep them safe and comfortable and help them enjoy their day.
What youll do
Provide one-to-one care with dignity and compassion
following the childs care plan and risk assessments.
Carry out tracheostomy and clinical observations and
medication administration (full training provided).
Support personal care moving and handling and daily
routines.
Keep accurate up-to-date care records.
Work closely with the family healthcare professionals and
the wider care team.

What were looking for
Essential:
Experience caring for babies or young children in a paid
role nursing placement or professional childcare setting.
At least 6 months UK care experience.
Moving and handling experience.
A calm gentle and reliable approach and the confidence
to stay composed if something changes quickly.
The right to work in the UK (we cannot offer sponsorship).
Desirable:
Paediatric complex care experience.
Tracheostomy or ventilation experience.
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or current
nursing or childcare studies.
Shifts
10 hours shifts both days and nights available
