Complex Care Assistant

What youll do

Join us as a Complex Care Assistant and expand your skills with full training and clinical support in areas such as tracheostomy care moving and handling equipment and medication administration. Youll be supporting a young gentleman with an acquired brain injury learning disabilities and a tracheostomy. 

On your day-to-day you will be supporting with a variety of clinical interventions this will include:

- Tracheostomy Management

- PEG Feed Management

- The use of Suction Machines

- Administering Medication

- Using Moving & Handling Equipment

- Providing Personal Care

Qualifications :

Skills & Requirements

Previous experience in a complex care assistant role is not essential but experience in the following would be extremely advantageous:

• Tracheostomy Management
• PEG Feeding
• Suctioning
• Medication Administration
• Moving & Handling Equipment.

You must be available for both Saturday & Sunday regularly.
