BRADCARE Seeking Full Time & Part Time Female Community Care Assistants With Driving Licences in Swadlincote

We are currently recruiting caring reliable and committed Community Care Assistants to join our growing team.

Due to the nature of the intimate personal care provided this position is open to female applicants only in accordance with the genuine occupational requirement provisions of the Equality Act 2010.

About the Role

We have a variety of shifts available to suit different availability including:

  • Morning shifts
  • Lunchtime shifts
  • Tea-time shifts
  • Evening shifts
  • Weekend working as part of the care rota
  • Full-time and part-time positions
  • Additional hours where available
  • Emergency cover where required

As a Community Care Assistant you will provide high-quality person-centred care to individuals within their own homes. Every visit is an opportunity to make a real difference helping people remain independent whilst receiving the support they need with dignity and respect.

You will work as part of a supportive professional team delivering care tailored to each individuals needs preferences and lifestyle.

  • Linton
  • Overseal
  • Woodville
  • Newhall
  • Midway
  • Church Gresley
  • Castle Gresley
  • Hartshorne

Where possible care rounds are allocated geographically to minimise travel time and support a positive work-life balance. As Bradcare continues to grow opportunities may become available across additional areas within South Derbyshire and neighbouring communities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Community Care Assistant your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care including washing dressing grooming and toileting
  • Supporting mobility transfers and safe movement around the home
  • Assisting with medication administration in accordance with training and company procedures
  • Preparing meals and supporting nutrition and hydration
  • Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction
  • Supporting individuals living with dementia and other complex care needs
  • Carrying out light housekeeping and domestic duties
  • Maintaining accurate electronic care records in accordance with GDPR requirements
  • Reporting safeguarding concerns or changes in wellbeing promptly
  • Delivering care in line with individual care plans and Bradcares quality standards
  • Promoting independence dignity choice and respect at all times

Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • A Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Access to a reliable vehicle
  • Female applicants only due to the genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Availability to work a mixture of mornings lunchtimes evenings and weekends depending on service requirements
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate dependable and professional approach
  • A genuine passion for helping people live independently and with dignity

Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential.
