Cleaner

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bromsgrove District and Redditchto assist with the appointment of a Cleaner on a 3-month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 12.85 - 16.23 per hour

Hours Per Week: 16

Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cleaner to join our Shared Service team. You will provide high-quality cleaning and environmental support across Council premises ensuring communal areas are maintained to a safe clean and welcoming standard for residents visitors and staff. This role also supports the day-to-day operation of the Extra Care Housing Scheme by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of health safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out cleaning duties in accordance with agreed cleaning schedules.
• Maintain communal areas facilities and external spaces to a high standard.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report stock shortages.
• Safely use store and dispose of cleaning chemicals and equipment in line with COSHH regulations.
• Wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Essentials:

• Previous experience carrying out cleaning duties.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH procedures.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable punctual and able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow Council policies and procedures.

• You should have right to work in U.K
• This role requires an Enhanced DBS
