An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade at one of Hampshires most respected independent country inns.
Holding 2 AA Rosettes Listed in the Michelin Guideand consistently recognised for its outstanding seasonal food this award-winning destination has built its reputation on exceptional British produce honest cooking and a genuine farm-to-fork philosophy.
This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious Chef de Partie looking to further their career within a quality-driven kitchen with genuine progression towards Junior Sous Chef available for the right individual.
Set within the Hampshire countryside this award-winning independent inn has earned an outstanding reputation for ingredient-led cooking warm hospitality and an uncompromising approach to quality.
The kitchen works with an ever-changing seasonal menu using produce grown and reared on the estate alongside the very best ingredients from trusted local suppliers. From home-reared livestock and honey to fruit vegetables and herbs grown on-site the emphasis is firmly on cooking from the ground up using exceptional raw ingredients.
Led by an experienced chef-owner with a genuine passion for classical cookery and craftsmanship this is a kitchen where quality always comes before shortcuts.
Working closely with the Chef Owner and experienced brigade youll take responsibility for your own section while continuing to develop your skills within a highly respected Rosette-standard kitchen.
This role would suit either an experienced Chef de Partie looking for a long-term home or an ambitious chef ready to progress towards Junior Sous Chef.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Running your own section throughout preparation and service
- Preparing refined seasonal dishes using exceptional local produce
- Working confidently across all areas of the kitchen
- Supporting the development of seasonal menus
- Maintaining consistently high standards of presentation and quality
- Assisting with stock control and minimising waste
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen organisation
- Supporting junior members of the brigade where required
- Up to 32000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Approximately 3000 annual tronc
- Around 45 hours per week
- Primarily split shifts
- Flexible working arrangements considered where possible for the right candidate

Were looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a quality fresh-food kitchen
- Experience within Rosette-standard kitchens is advantageous
- Strong classical cookery skills and confidence working with fresh ingredients
- A genuine passion for seasonal British produce
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
- The ability to remain calm and consistent during busy services
- A desire to build a long-term career within a quality-led independent kitchen
