Lancashire County Council provides catering services to over 500 schools across the county serving more than 60000 meals every day. Now were looking for someone like you to join our dedicated team.
In this role you will:
- Be part of a friendly and supportive High School team
- Help prepare cook and serve healthy balanced meals to students
- Keep catering areas and equipment clean and hygienic

- Can stay calm under pressure and use your initiative
- Have great customer service skills
- Have experience in catering or food preparation (this is a bonus not a must!)

Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 2.5 hours per day
- 12.5 hours per week term time only

Local Government Reorganisation
The Government has confirmed that local government across Lancashire will be reorganised with the current 15 councils being replaced by four new unitary councils covering North South East and West Lancashire from April 2028.
If you are successful in your application you will initially join Lancashire County Council. However as part of the planned transition your employment will transfer to one of the new unitary councils from April 2028 subject to the implementation of the reorganisation and relevant employment legislation.
