Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is looking for enthusiastic Playworkers/Activity Leaders to join our casual bank team in Watford!

This is a fantastic opportunity if youre looking for flexible childcare work now with the potential to move into more regular and permanent hours in the future as positions become available.

WHEN WILL YOU WORK

Our term-time operational hours are:

Breakfast Club: 7:30am9:00am
After School Club: 3:00pm6:00pm

Up to 22.5 hours per week may be available during term time depending on the sessions you cover.

As a casual bank team member youll help cover:

Staff sickness
Staff holidays
Busier sessions
Additional staffing requirements

More permanent hours will be offered when they become available giving you the opportunity to develop your role with JAG.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING

As a JAG Playworker no two days are quite the same!

Youll:

• Plan and deliver fun activities including sports games arts & crafts and structured play
• Create an inclusive environment where every child feels welcome and involved
• Supervise children and ensure they are safe happy and having fun
• Prepare and provide refreshments
• Set up and pack away play spaces and equipment
• Follow safeguarding health & safety and first aid procedures
• Complete sign-in/out processes and relevant records
• Build positive relationships with children parents schools and your team
• Bring energy enthusiasm and plenty of fun to every session!

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

You dont have to be a childcare expert were looking for great people with the right attitude!

Experience in childcare teaching coaching youth work or similar is a bonus but your personality and enthusiasm can be just as important!
