Apprenticeship Overview:
- Salary:8.00 an hourAutomatic pay increase after one year on programme for 19 year olds
- Working Week:Monday - Sunday (30 hours per week shift to be confirmed)
- Hours:30 hours per week
- Duration:13 months
- Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship standard qualification
- Online training supported by our dedicated tutor
- Location:Nexus Business Centre 6 Darby Close Swindon Wiltshire SN2 2PN
As an Adult Care Apprentice you will:
- Deliver safe respectful and person-centred care to individuals in their own homes and/or supported living settings.
- Support with personal care daily living activities mobility meals and hydration.
- Provide medication support where trained competent and authorised.
- Encourage independence wellbeing and participation in social and community activities.
- Observe and report changes in individuals health and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate and confidential care records.
- Follow care plans risk assessments and Ltd policies and procedures.
- Comply with safeguarding health and safety and infection control requirements.
- Communicate effectively with service users families colleagues and other professionals.
- Complete apprenticeship training attend learning sessions and work towards achieving the apprenticeship qualification.
Qualifications:
- GCSEs in English and Maths at grades 49 (A*C) desirable
