Apprenticeship Overview:

• Salary:8.00 an hourAutomatic pay increase after one year on programme for 19 year olds
• Working Week:Monday - Sunday (30 hours per week shift to be confirmed)
• Hours:30 hours per week
• Duration:13 months
• Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship standard qualification
• Online training supported by our dedicated tutor
• Location:Nexus Business Centre 6 Darby Close Swindon Wiltshire SN2 2PN

As an Adult Care Apprentice you will:

• Deliver safe respectful and person-centred care to individuals in their own homes and/or supported living settings.
• Support with personal care daily living activities mobility meals and hydration.
• Provide medication support where trained competent and authorised.
• Encourage independence wellbeing and participation in social and community activities.
• Observe and report changes in individuals health and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate and confidential care records.
• Follow care plans risk assessments and Ltd policies and procedures.
• Comply with safeguarding health and safety and infection control requirements.
• Communicate effectively with service users families colleagues and other professionals.
• Complete apprenticeship training attend learning sessions and work towards achieving the apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications:

• GCSEs in English and Maths at grades 49 (A*C) desirable
