Care Home Head Chef. Manor Park Care Home

• Pay rate: £18 per hour
• Hours: Full time 40 hours per week
• Shift Pattern: 8am – 6:30pm alternate weekends

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef who takes pride in creating delicious home-cooked meals while leading a successful kitchen team.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Plan and prepare nutritious meals that cater to individual dietary and nutritional needs.
• Create varied seasonal menus that residents enjoy.
• Manage stock ordering and kitchen budgets effectively.
• Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene safety and cleanliness.
• Lead motivate and support the catering team.
• Work closely with residents and colleagues to provide an excellent dining experience.

Who We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Head Chef Senior Chef or Kitchen Manager.
• A passion for producing high-quality nutritious meals.
• Strong knowledge of food hygiene HACCP and kitchen safety standards.
• Experience managing stock budgets and kitchen teams.
• Organised reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive leader with excellent communication skills.
