Job Summary

- Base salary range: $120912 $132161 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The UWA Medical School is the largest and longest established medical school in Western Australia. It delivers a 4-year post-graduate MD course to localnationaland international students. TheSchoolalso has substantial and successful research programs across the spectrum of health and medical research.
The Centre for Neuromuscular and Neurological Disorders is a world leader in developing innovative treatments for disorders of the brain and body. As part of the Centre the Perron Institute lead groundbreaking independent research and clinical interventions to support treat and collaborate with consumers.
Within this context you will work and manage research activities within a Wellcome Trust funded innovative project Hypatia. Hypatia is a digital platform for computational phenotyping in industry and clinical environments; we are finalists for the 35th Incite Awards in WA. We are built by a highly motivated team of engineers scientists UXUI designers and artists. You will work and train within this dynamic environment enjoying experience in both industry-adjacent clinical and scientific fields seeking to define Hypatias business structure following the conclusion of the project.
About the opportunity
- Develop implement and evaluate a value proposition for Hypatia.
- Plan implement and manage a range of administrative functions that may include personnel and financial management activities.
- Plan implement and manage a strong business model for Hypatia following the conclusion of the project.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency related to business development management and/or financial accounting.
- Extensive relevant experience at a management level with proven management expertise where independent autonomous work has been conducted to achieve team goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing spreadsheets databases internet and email as well as AI co-pilot prompting.
