Bulk Waste Driver

Accuro Environmental are proud to be experts in the servicing of Cleaning Grounds Maintenance Arboriculture Street Cleaning and Waste Management contracts. Designed to deliver they have brought together some of the most experienced and capable talent to provide a first-class choice for the environmental services industry.

To strengthen their existing team they are currently looking to employ a dedicated Bulk Waste Management Operative to work in and around the Chelmsford area.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar role and must hold a full UK driving licence as a company vehicle will be provided for this position. A DBS check will also be carried out.

Your duties will include:

• Driving company vehicle to locations within your designated area collecting items of bulk waste
• Take bulk waste to designated disposal facility and dispose of safely
• Follow all company Health & Safety procedures ensuring you wear the correct PPE at all times
• Fill in all necessary job sheets/documentation once job has been completed
• The position is primarily a driving role; however when driving work is unavailable you may be required to undertake other reasonable duties to support the wider business.

Key Skills & Qualities needed:

• Experience of working within a similar role is desirable
• Flexible and willing to learn procedures
• Ability to lift heavy loads in accordance with manual handling/Health and Safety procedures and legislation
• A highly motivated individual
• Ability to work well within our team as well as to work unsupervised
• Excellent customer service skills
