Were working with a welcoming secondary school in the M30 area of Manchester that is looking to appoint a Behaviour Manager on a full-time permanent basis from September 2026.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with a strong pastoral or behaviour background to take ownership of the schools Reflect (internal exclusion) provision helping students make positive choices and successfully reintegrate into mainstream lessons.

Pastoral care is central to the schools ethos and staff work closely together to ensure students receive the support guidance and challenge they need to achieve their full potential. Behaviour is managed through consistency strong relationships and restorative practice.
As Behaviour Manager youll lead the day-to-day running of the schools Reflect provision supporting students who require additional intervention while helping them return positively to learning.
Responsibilities include:
Managing the Reflect (internal exclusion) room
Holding restorative conversations with students
Supporting behaviour interventions and reintegration plans
Working closely with Heads of Year and pastoral teams
Liaising with parents and carers
Monitoring behaviour records and identifying trends
Promoting positive behaviour across the school
Were looking for someone who has experience working within pastoral support behaviour management inclusion youth work or a similar role.
Youll be calm resilient and confident building positive relationships while maintaining high expectations. Experience using school MIS systems would be an advantage.
FTE (pro rata dependent on experience)
Full-time permanent contract
September 2026 start
Term time only plus 3 weeks
37.5 hours per week (8:00am4:00pm)
