Job Summary

A welcoming Catholic secondary school in Manchester is looking to appoint a Behaviour Manager on a full-time permanent basis from October 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a school with a strong reputation for pastoral care where youll work closely with students staff and families to promote positive behaviour improve engagement and help every young person reach their full potential.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced pastoral team youll support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 while helping to maintain the schools calm and purposeful learning environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading behaviour interventions for students requiring additional support

  • Working alongside Heads of Year safeguarding and SEND teams

  • Supporting restorative practice and reintegration meetings

  • Monitoring behaviour attendance and punctuality

  • Liaising with parents carers and external agencies

  • Maintaining accurate behaviour records and reports

The Successful Candidate

Youll be a confident communicator who can build positive relationships manage challenging situations effectively and encourage students to make lasting improvements.
