Previous School Experience Essential

An Outstanding secondary school in Birmingham is looking for a Behaviour Manager to join its established pastoral team.

Previous experience working in a school is essential. The successful candidate could come from a Behaviour Manager Pastoral Manager Inclusion Officer Behaviour Mentor or Student Support background.

Youll work closely with students staff and families to address behaviour concerns and help maintain a calm purposeful learning environment.

Your Responsibilities
  • Managing behaviour interventions

  • Monitoring behaviour attendance and punctuality

  • Supporting students with additional behavioural needs

  • Working alongside Heads of Year and SLT

  • Conducting restorative meetings

  • Supporting reintegration following exclusions or absence

  • Liaising with parents and carers

  • Maintaining behaviour records

  • Identifying recurring behaviour concerns

  • Supporting whole-school behaviour initiatives

About You

Youll need to be confident working with young people able to maintain professional boundaries and comfortable handling challenging situations.

Experience with SEMH safeguarding restorative approaches or inclusion would be advantageous.
