Previous School Experience Essential

An established independent secondary school in Birmingham is looking for an experienced Behaviour Manager to join its pastoral leadership team.

Previous experience working within a school is essential particularly in behaviour management pastoral care inclusion or student support.

This is an important role within the school helping maintain high expectations while providing appropriate support for students who need additional intervention.

What Youll Be Doing
  • Leading the schools behaviour support systems

  • Managing targeted interventions

  • Supporting students with persistent behavioural concerns

  • Monitoring behaviour patterns and trends

  • Working closely with senior leaders

  • Supporting Heads of Year and pastoral staff

  • Managing restorative meetings

  • Liaising with families

  • Supporting students following sanctions

  • Maintaining accurate records and reports

About You

Youll be someone who can combine firm boundaries with a supportive approach and communicate confidently with students colleagues and parents.

Experience working with SEMH safeguarding restorative practice or complex behaviour would be highly useful.
