Bartender, American Bar

We are currently seeking a confident enthusiastic and passionate Bartender to join our American Bar team.

The on target earning potential for this role is 37138 / per annum - comprising a base salary of 28838 plus a qualified estimate of 8300 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks benefits and rewards

• Youll consistently provide the highest standards of service drinks preparation and bar organisation always seeking to exceed our guests expectations
• Bringing a dynamic warm and friendly service to our American Bar; from preparing wines whisky and cocktails to pouring tea and coffee
• Youll be delivering efficient service of drinks providing a professional and memorable experience for all our guests
• Assisting guests with sharing your knowledge of classic cocktails wines and spirits
• Youll be meticulous in preparing drinks; accurately measuring following recipes and making sure theyre presented immaculately
• Maintaining a clean and well-organised bar area including preparing fresh ingredients for service
• Youll bring your creativity and contribute to the development of new drinks and offerings
• Proficiently up selling and encouraging other team members to do the same at every opportunity
• Interacting with our guests always warm professional helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way

• You have fantastic experience ideally in a luxury environment akin to our intimate glamourous and decadent American Bar
• You have a strong bartending working knowledge passion and experience
• Youre currently established in a similar role having had experience within a luxury hospitality environment however having a great attitude is essential
• Your perspective and approach are always fresh; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you to your guest its the first time
• You have a keen eye for detail creative an organised approach and willingness to exceed guest expectation
• Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; youre passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
• You have a positive can do attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
• A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; youre well organised and punctual with an eagle eye for detail
• You want to be part of a team that works hard supports each other and above all has fun along the way
