Job Summary
We are looking for experienced and reliable Banqueting Staff to support a variety of events and weddings.
The team will work together to ensure every event runs smoothly from set-up and service through to clearing down.
Banqueting Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full running of the banqueting operation.
- Lead and coordinate the event team before during and after each function.
- Manage staff allocation service standards and guest experience.
- Liaise with clients event organisers kitchen and management.
- Ensure the event runs to schedule and deal with any issues professionally.
- Brief and debrief staff before and after events.
- Maintain high standards of service presentation health and safety.
Banqueting Supervisor / F&B Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Support the Banqueting Manager with the smooth running of events.
- Supervise F&B and banqueting staff throughout service.
- Allocate sections and responsibilities to team members.
- Brief staff on menus timings table plans and service requirements.
- Monitor service standards and guest satisfaction.
- Assist with set-up service and close-down.
- Deal with guest requests and resolve issues quickly.
Head Waiter
Responsibilities:
- Lead a section of the waiting team during events.
- Ensure tables are correctly set and presented.
- Coordinate service between waiters runners bar and kitchen.
- Ensure food and drinks are served efficiently and professionally.
- Support and guide junior waiting staff.
- Maintain excellent customer service throughout the event.
F&B Servers / Banqueting Waiters
Responsibilities:
- Set up tables chairs linen cutlery glassware and service areas.
- Welcome and serve guests professionally.
- Take food and drink orders where required.
- Serve meals and beverages efficiently.
- Clear and reset tables throughout the event.
- Assist with room turnarounds and event breakdown.
- Maintain a clean professional and guest-focused environment.
Bar Staff / Bartenders
Responsibilities:
- Set up and prepare the bar before service.
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently.
- Prepare cocktails and other drinks where required.
- Maintain excellent customer service.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate requirements.
- Keep the bar clean organised and fully stocked.
- Follow licensing age verification and responsible service requirements.
Food Runners
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate food service between the kitchen and front-of-house team.
- Deliver dishes to the correct tables quickly and accurately.
- Assist waiting staff during busy service periods.
- Ensure plates are presented correctly before leaving the kitchen.
- Maintain communication with the kitchen and service team.
- Assist with clearing and resetting where required.
Kitchen Porters
Responsibilities:
- Keep the kitchen back-of-house and equipment areas clean and organised.
- Wash and sanitise dishes pots pans and kitchen equipment.
- Support chefs during busy service.
- Ensure kitchen areas remain stocked and operational.
- Assist with deliveries waste management and general kitchen duties.
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
Kitchen Assistants
Responsibilities:
- Support chefs with food preparation and basic kitchen duties.
- Prepare ingredients garnish and assist with plating.
- Maintain clean and organised preparation areas.
- Assist with stock rotation and storage.
- Support the kitchen team during busy event service.
- Follow food hygiene and health & safety standards.
Domestic / Cleaning Staff
Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the venue.
- Clean public areas function rooms toilets and staff areas.
- Assist with pre-event and post-event cleaning.
- Ensure function spaces are presentable before guests arrive.
- Assist with clearing down after events.
- Replenish cleaning and guest supplies as required.
