We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced MRICS Surveyor and Registered Valuer to join our growing Infrastructure team in Nottingham.

Working across a diverse portfolio of major infrastructure projects you will provide professional valuation compensation and property advice on behalf of clients and landowners. You will play a key role in delivering successful outcomes through expert negotiation strategic property advice and effective client relationship management.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded surveyor with experience in the commercial rural or infrastructure sectors who is looking to further develop their career within a collaborative and ambitious team. Main Tasks

• Provide valuation advice relating to land and property interests across a range of infrastructure projects.
• Lead negotiations on compensation claims and compulsory purchase matters on behalf of clients and landowners.
• Deliver strategic and tactical property advice to clients within the infrastructure sector.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and secure new business.
• Lead and support business development initiatives within the local market with a particular focus on claimants and landowners.
• Manage and oversee surveyors across the team ensuring the delivery of high-quality client service and technical excellence.
• Mentor and coach junior colleagues supporting their professional development and progression towards professional qualifications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes systems and ways of working promoting efficiency and best practice.
• Ensure all work is undertaken in accordance with relevant legislation professional standards company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support the wider growth and success of the Infrastructure team through collaboration knowledge sharing and leadership.

What will it take to be successful

Were looking for an MRICS qualified Surveyor and Registered Valuer with experience within the rural or infrastructure property sectors.

You will have a strong understanding of valuation principles and property compensation matters together with knowledge of compulsory purchase and compensation legislation and practice. Youll be confident managing complex negotiations providing strategic advice and delivering successful outcomes for clients.

The successful candidate will be commercially aware client-focused and capable of building strong lasting relationships. Youll have a proven ability to identify business development opportunities and contribute to the growth of the business.

You will also bring:
