Cushman & Wakefields North West Planning team is continuing to grow creating an opportunity for an Associate Planner to join our Manchester office.

Working alongside an established NW team and a highly regarded team of planning professionals youll advise an enviable mix of clients across both the public and private sectors. This role offers genuine variety and the opportunity to influence some of the North Wests most significant regeneration and development projects.

This is an organically created opportunity reflecting the continued growth and success of the team.

The Opportunity

Youll take a leading role in delivering planning advice across a diverse portfolio of projects working closely with colleagues across Land Development & Planning and the wider Cushman & Wakefield business.

Projects span:

  • Town centre and strategic regeneration

  • Masterplanning and development frameworks

  • Planning applications and appeals

  • Public sector development strategies

  • Residential commercial and mixed-use developments

  • Planning policy and site promotion

  • Stakeholder engagement and client relationship management

Youll enjoy significant client exposure from day one with the autonomy to lead projects while helping to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to the continued growth of the team.

About You

Were looking for someone who brings:

  • MRTPI qualification

  • Strong consultancy or client-side planning experience

  • Experience managing planning projects from inception through delivery

  • Excellent report writing and communication skills

  • Commercial awareness and the confidence to build lasting client relationships

  • A collaborative approach and desire to contribute to business growth

  • Experience working with both public and private sector clients would be advantageous but isnt essential.
