Assistant SPC Manager (Variations)

Semperian Group are looking to recruit an Assistant SPC Manager (Variations) based at Darent Valley Hospital on a full time permanent contract basis. The Assistant SPC Manager will support the SPC Manager to help oversee operational performance support financial and contractual obligations manage relationships with service providers and clients and contribute to the delivery of business objectives.

Assistant SPC Manager Responsibilities

• Support the operational and financial management of SPCs ensuring compliance with contractual legal and company requirements.
• Assist with the management and monitoring of third-party service providers to drive performance service quality and minimise deductions.
• Support contract administration including variations compliance reviews audits and action tracking.
• Assist with health and safety monitoring quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to financial reporting budgeting commercial opportunities and income generation activities.
• Build effective relationships with clients stakeholders and service providers promoting excellent customer service and best practice.

Assistant SPC Manager Requirements

Essential

• Degree-level qualification in Construction Facilities Management or a related discipline or significant project management experience.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and operational compliance requirements.
• Experience of managing or supporting operational PFI contracts/projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to obtain a satisfactory DBS check.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload meet deadlines and work independently.

Desirable

• Experience working with project lenders investors or external funding stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the Health and/or Education sectors.
• Understanding of project finance and investment principles.
• Commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach.
• Experience of quality assurance audit or compliance processes.
• Proactive resilient and committed to continuous improvement.
