Assistant Restaurant Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to support the daily operation of our busy restaurant and café. The successful candidate will be passionate about hospitality committed to delivering exceptional customer service and capable of leading and motivating a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant.
• Lead supervise and motivate front-of-house team members.
• Ensure the highest standards of customer service are consistently delivered.
• Handle customer enquiries feedback and complaints in a professional manner.
• Assist with staff training development and performance management.
• Monitor service standards cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage stock levels ordering and inventory controls where required.
• Support rota planning and labour management.
• Drive sales and help achieve business targets.
• Ensure a welcoming and positive experience for all guests.

Qualifications :

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Restaurant Assistant Manager Supervisor or similar hospitality management role.
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating outstanding guest experiences.
• Proven experience working within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Organisation and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety health and safety and hospitality best practices.
• Flexible approach to working hours including weekends and evenings.
