Assistant Psychologist

As part of our ambitious Experts at Hand programme we are expanding our team& looking for enthusiastic Assistant Psychologists who are passionate about improving outcomes for children& young people.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded service with strong school relationships & a commitment to early intervention inclusion & evidence-informed practice. Working alongside Educational Psychologists schools & families you will help children & young people overcome barriers to learning & achieve positive outcomes.

Our Assistant Psychologists play an important role in delivering direct work with children & young people supporting families developing interventions contributing to service projects & working collaboratively with schools & multi-agency partners.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for graduates considering future professional training in Educational Psychology as well as individuals with experience of supporting children & young people in education health or care settings.

To join us you will:

Hold a psychology degree recognised by the British Psychological Society

Have experience of working with children & young people

Be committed to improving outcomes for children & families

Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills

Be able to work collaboratively with schools families & professionals

Be organised resilient & able to work independently when required
