What youll do
As anAssistant Chief Engineeryoull love what you doand take pride in delighting our guests:
- You will be responsible for ensuring the Engineering maintenance is compliant with legislation protects public safety and hotel equipment is up to will include mobilizing and inspiring the Engineering team members to build a high performing team all to ensure ourguests receive nothing but the best experience.
- As an Assistant Chief Engineer you will also manage operational costs and profitability and drive improvement in guest satisfaction as well as monitoring and improving Engineering practices policies and procedures to ensure a seamless 24/7 operation and Engineering service.
- The successful candidate will in partnership with the Area Director of Engineering support the whole engineering team through recruitment mentorship wellbeing and personal development all to ensure the success of our employees.

What youll bring
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality environment
- ONC/HNC or City & Guilds in Engineering or Building Services mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
- Extensive experience in areas such as construction plumbing carpentry electrical engineering environmental engineering HVAC and mechanical systems
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude
