Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Asset Surveyor to join our Assets & Compliance Team. As an Asset Surveyor you will play a vital role in helping us provide safe high-quality and sustainable homes while supporting long-term investment planning and energy efficiency improvements across our housing stock.

  • Role: Asset Surveyor
  • Pay: * annual salary dependent on experience
  • Contract: Permanent 35 hours Monday to Friday
  • Location: Swansea base - hybrid.
  • Full UK Driving Licence required and access to a vehicle.
  • We do not offer sponsorship

About the role

As an Asset Surveyor you will undertake stock condition surveys energy efficiency assessments WHQS surveys and other property inspections to support our Asset Management Strategy. You will accurately collect and maintain property data helping to shape future investment programmes and improve customer outcomes.

The Asset Surveyor will work closely with tenants contractors and colleagues to provide technical advice monitor property works and support projects aimed at reducing fuel poverty and improving energy efficiency. Youll also carry out pre-works work-in-progress and post-completion inspections to ensure works are delivered safely on time and to the highest standards.

About you

As our next Asset Surveyor youll be passionate about improving homes enhancing communities and helping shape future investment decisions. Youll have a keen eye for detail enjoy problem-solving and thrive in a role that combines site-based surveying data analysis and stakeholder engagement.

You will be a proactive and detail-oriented professional who enjoys being out on site solving problems and building positive relationships with tenants contractors and colleagues. Youll be confident working independently managing your own workload and making informed decisions while also being a collaborative team player who shares knowledge and supports others.

You will bring:

  • Experience carrying out property inspections surveys or asset management activities
  • Strong knowledge of building construction maintenance and property standards
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly
  • A customer-focused approach and a passion for delivering excellent service
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive mindset with the confidence to identify issues and recommend solutions
  • A commitment to continuous learning innovation and professional development

Most importantly youll be someone who shares our values takes pride in delivering great work and wants to play a key role in shaping and improving homes for the future.

We welcome previous experience working as a: building surveyor housing surveyor property inspector maintenance surveyor repairs surveyor construction coordinator asset management officer.
