About this Role

Are you an experienced Area Sales Manager Business Development Manager or Sales Executive looking for your next opportunity in the vans sector As an Area Sales Manager with Dawsongroup Vans you will drive agreed sales budgets develop strategic accounts and create new business opportunities across the geographical area covered by the Ipswich branch.

• Deliver agreed quarterly and annual sales budgets through self-motivation customer development and targeted sales activity.
• Identify develop and retain strategic local and national accounts while providing excellent customer service.
• Convert new business opportunities generated through leads referrals and proactive prospecting.
• Develop local business through personal engagement working closely with direct sales and hire desk personnel.
• Identify and develop potential markets within your area while supporting wider growth opportunities as the network develops.

About You

We are looking for someone who can build strong customer relationships spot opportunities and balance commercial performance with excellent service.

• A confident customer-focused approach with the ability to develop meaningful long-term relationships.
• Commercial awareness with a focus on service financial returns and profitability rather than fleet growth alone.
• The motivation to prospect for new opportunities and develop existing customer relationships.
• A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across different Business Units and functions.
• The confidence to represent Dawsongroup Vans locally and lead by example.
