The Role
As an Architectural Technologist you will support and deliver the technical stages of regeneration and refurbishment projects typically ranging from 3m to 25m in value with exposure to larger masterplanning schemes. You will work closely with architects consultants and contractors to ensure projects are delivered accurately efficiently and in line with current UK legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and coordinate technical drawings across detailed design and construction stages
Support the delivery of refurbishment retrofit and new-build projects
Assist with on-site coordination responding to RFIs and site queries
Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and project specifications
Contribute to technical detailing specifications and schedules
Coordinate with consultants and internal project teams
Support compliance with the Building Safety Act where applicable
Experience & Skills Required
Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology (or equivalent)
UK-based practice experience with a strong technical focus
Experience working on refurbishment and/or regeneration projects
Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations
Proficiency in Archicad and NBS (Create/Building); Adobe Creative Suite experience beneficial
Understanding of construction detailing and coordination
Organised proactive and confident working as part of a project team
