AM Transport Porter
Location: Coatbridge
Work Pattern: Monday to Saturday
Hours: 6:00am - 3:00pm Monday to Friday 6:00am - 10:00am Saturday
Summary of Role
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Porter to join our busy operation in Coatbridge. This role plays a key part in supporting the smooth running of the warehouse by ensuring stock is moved loaded and organised safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.
Responsibilities
Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles
Move stock safely throughout the warehouse and loading areas
Prepare goods for dispatch and delivery
Support the receipt and checking of incoming deliveries
Maintain a clean safe and organised warehouse environment
Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
Assist with stock movement and general warehouse duties
Work as part of a team to ensure operational targets are achieved

Skills and Knowledge
Previous warehouse porter or logistics experience is beneficial
Ability to carry out manual handling tasks safely
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance record
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of warehouse health and safety practices
Good attention to detail
Flexible and proactive approach to work
Desirable
Experience working within a distribution or logistics environment
Manual handling training
Experience using warehouse equipment or pallet trucks
Understanding of goods-in and dispatch processes
