Were looking for outstanding graduates to join our growing global Advisory business supporting capital investment programmes transformations projects and asset enhancement initiatives. Roles can be based in one of our offices listed above.

Building off AECOMs considerable expertise in infrastructure design and implementation AECOM Advisory is a trusted adviser to senior level clients and executive teams on their most pressing enterprise and strategic needs. We deliver projects across the infrastructure market with a current focus on aviation defence energy and water.

Our team of 400 staff globally comprises business and policy analysts economists commercial strategists technology architects as well as human capital and change management practitioners. We help our clients develop their strategy improve their operational performance and integrate digital systems to generate value for their stakeholders and impact for their communities.

We are a new category of consulting firm; one that builds off true operational and technical expertise of our broader platform to bring industry depth and capability-driven insight to the clients we serve.

As a graduate youll have the chance to rotate through the different teams that make up advisory gaining hands-on experience in a variety of areas.  Working within a multidisciplinary environment will broaden your knowledge and network giving you a clear sense of where you might want to focus your consultancy career in the future.

Our UK & Ireland Advisory teams includes:

  • Strategy - who help organisations solve complex system-level challenges by turning strategy into practical deliverable change. Our work spans capability-led operating model design governance design change and transformation and performance improvement across people process data technology and delivery. Current growth priorities include operating model design change management and performance improvement particularly across sectors such as Energy Water and Defence.
  • Strategic Procurement -  who help clients understand the critical importance of a thoroughly developed and market tested procurement strategy which is a cornerstone for project success and will ensure the appointment of the right supply chain partners into a commercial relationship based upon aligned objectives.
  • Economic Development - who work on economic strategy feasibility studies investment plans business case development financial modelling and real estate analysis.
  • Industrial Advisory -  who apply lean thinking process optimisation and industrial engineering expertise to deliver measurable improvements in performance across sectors including Defence Aviation Infrastructure Automotive and other highly regulated industries.
  • Transaction Advisory who advise on economic and social infrastructure projects being delivered via project and quasi-development / property finance routes. They deliver a range of core project finance services including PPP / PFI lifecycle operational and payment reviews and quasi-development / property finance new mandates are focused in the carbon net zero arena.
  • People & Place Advisory Who advise on built environment strategy and change management specialists with a focus on user experience supporting transformation projects from workplace enhancements to estate optimisation.

Alongside your degree we are looking for you to be able to demonstrate:

  • Critical Thinking the ability to thoughtfully question acknowledge information recognise ambiguity and challenge assumptions.
  • Information Analysis gathering diverse information sources and applying an analytical approach to interpret evaluate reason and reflect to make informed judgements and extract insights.
  • Creativity contributing to the design and implementation of strategic initiatives in a fast-paced client-focused environment.
  • Initiative demonstrating a proactive mindset with a strong interest in problem-solving to enhance business strategy and operations.
  • Business Acumen a solid grasp of fundamental business concepts such as finance marketing and operations.
  • Communication Skills producing high-quality outputs that resonate with clients using both written and verbal communication including storytelling techniques.

Qualifications :
