About the role
Youllplay a key role in supporting a dynamic team committed to enhancing conservation values. The position offers plenty of variety including providing essential administrative and support services to keep operations runningsmoothlyandworking with internal and external range of technologiesand have practical skills including the ability to drive manual processing financial transactions suchas creatingpurchase orders and processing invoicesandbasic financial calendar management and coordinatepractical operations and administrative process related to fleet management.
The role also supports internaland externalstakeholders across the Branch by handling general enquiries preparing various reports for senior staff and managers assisting with the organisation of training meetings and travel reviewing shared mailboxes calendars and resources and providing support during incidents such as compliance with organisational policies processes procedures audit and statutory requirements. Other dutiesincludethe use ofContent Manager (CM) for records managementmaintainingminor asset registersassistingwith Work Health and Safety and asset audits taking meetingminutes collating documents for insurance claims anddemonstratinginclusivity and respect in all interactions.
About You
You are a highly organised and motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative and diverse setting. Youpossessstrong technology skills you are analytical with attention to detail as well asexcellent communication and collaboration skills when working with staff and stakeholders. Your passion for your community and environment coupled with a passion for providing excellent and positive customer service will be key to your success in this role.
Essential Role Requirements
- Experience in administration including the use of computer based systems such as word processing spreadsheet and records management and records management systems.
- Knowledge of financial and human resource management procedures policies and practices.
