Job Overview:
Manage end-to-end purchasing activities for both Direct and Indirect Materials ensuring cost efficiency supplier performance quality and timely delivery. The role will work closely with internal functions and international stakeholders to support business and procurement objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement of raw materials chemicals packaging spare parts equipment and services.
- Develop and manage suppliers including vendor selection audits performance evaluation and negotiation.
- Monitor inventory production requirements deliveries imports and logistics to ensure timely supply.
- Negotiate pricing contracts warranties and bulk purchasing to achieve cost savings.
- Develop procurement systems SOPs databases and monitoring tools to improve efficiency.
- Monitor market trends government regulations alternative suppliers and substitute materials.
- Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to improve quality cost and procurement processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Engineering Chemistry or related field.
- 5 years experience in Purchasing/Procurement covering Direct & Indirect Materials with 3 years in a supervisory/management role.
- Experience in Chemical/Chemical-related industries is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing negotiation supplier management and cost optimization; SAP experience is a plus.
- Good English communication skills and experience working with international teams/foreign management.
- Willing to work in Rayong MondaySaturday.
