Artemis SEA is proud to partner with a growing international school in Bangkok to recruit a Founding IB Diploma Programme Coordinator.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced IB educator who wants to do more than manage an established programme. Youll play a key role in designing launching and leading a new IB Diploma Programme while helping shape the future of a developing secondary school.
Working closely with the Head of School and senior leadership team youll have the opportunity to build systems mentor teachers influence academic strategy and create a programme that will benefit students for years to come.
Our client is an established international school delivering a Canadian (Ontario) curriculum and is preparing to launch the IB Diploma Programme as the next stage of its academic development.
With growing enrolment and a strong pipeline of students progressing into secondary school this is an exciting time to join the leadership team and make a meaningful impact.
As the Founding IB Diploma Programme Coordinator you will:
- Lead the implementation and development of the IB Diploma Programme.
- Coordinate the schools IB authorization and future evaluation processes.
- Ensure compliance with IB Standards and Practices.
- Develop academic policies procedures and programme documentation.
- Support curriculum planning assessment and academic quality.
- Coordinate examinations internal assessments predicted grades and IB reporting.
- Coach and mentor teachers in IB philosophy and best practices.
- Foster a culture of inquiry academic excellence and student wellbeing.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and secondary school development.
- Support teacher recruitment academic planning and university preparation initiatives.
Successful candidates will have:
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- A Bachelors degree in Education or a related field (Masters preferred).
- Experience teaching within an IB Diploma Programme.
- Previous experience as an IB DP Coordinator or in a significant IB leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of IB authorization curriculum assessment and programme standards.
- Experience mentoring teachers and leading curriculum development.
- Excellent communication organisational and project management skills.
- Fluency in English.
