As a Software Engineer you will play a key part in designing developing and maintaining software for our inspection robots and camera systems. We are seeking a talented and passionate software engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for candidates in the early stages of their career who already have some hands-on experience but are still looking to build and expand their technical expertise. Our Engineering team is comprised of mechanical electrical and software engineers. Learn more about the product youll be working on here: a Software Engineer you will be responsible for:
Designing and developing control software including UI design in accordance with product or project needs.
Testing and validating new hardware platforms
Supporting development of new camera and robotic systems.
Bug fixing and feature updating to existing control software.
Participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering and design to testing and deployment.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a bachelors or masters degree in computer science or similar field.
Have professional work experience; experience in micro mechanics or robotics would be strongly preferred.
Bring Python C/C# or Java programming experience.
Familiarity with AI inferencing workflows deployment pipelines or machine learning models is a plus.
Be familiar with Python libraries such as NumPy SciPy PyQt; as well as with source control systems such as Git
Bring concurrent programming experience (e.g. threading multiprocessing).
Have knowledge of software design and architecture patterns (e.g. MVVM MVC pub-sub).
Be fluent in English German language is a plus.
