Senior Business Analyst (Data Applications)

Were looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Data Applications) to join our team in broader Zurich area Switzerland in a hybrid working this role you will drive requirements governance for a complex data services environment bridging business and technical worlds to ensure alignment across multiple domains. Your expertise will help deliver scalable compliant and future-ready data solutions directly impacting strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

• Own requirements strategy and governance across Data Services domains including Platform Applications BI Infrastructure and Integration
• Lead complex and ambiguous requirement discovery sessions with business stakeholders and leadership
• Review and approve user stories and acceptance criteria produced by supporting BAs prior to backlog entry
• Ensure requirement traceability and assess change impacts for high-priority scope or regulatory changes
• Facilitate workshops to resolve conflicting requirements across multiple stakeholder groups
• Mentor and guide a team of Business Analysts defining standards and maintaining best practices
• Advise Program Management and Data Architects on business priorities and trade-offs

• 8 years of experience in business analysis including at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity
• Proven track record of managing complex multi-domain requirements on data or platform delivery projects
• Expertise in requirements governance and traceability across large-scale programs
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills at senior leadership level
• Experience using GenAI tools for requirement management
• Ability to mentor BA teams and define governance processes
• Experience in trading market and with trading platforms
• Professional proficiency in English (B2 or above)

• Knowledge of data domains
• SQL skills for data validation
• Agile/Scrum coaching experience
• Familiarity with AI-assisted documentation tools
• Exposure to regulatory or compliance-driven projects
