Your Mission
We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design mechanical components in SolidWorks and run the structured hardware testing - Python-driven test scripts sensor validation and calibration- that helps us select the best components for our interceptor drone.
Core Responsibilities
Test and compare new sensor components (IMU camera GPS) to identify the best option
Run and adapt Python scripts to execute structured hardware tests adjust parameters and capture measurement data
Establish calibration set-ups and best parameters for various sensors
Design and iterate on mechanical components and assemblies in SolidWorks
Requirements
Required
BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering industry experience required
Comfortable running and adapting Python scripts to drive sensor tests adjust parameters and log data
Strong SolidWorks proficiency (3D modelling assemblies drawings) and 3D printing prototyping
Hands-on prototyping experience you build what you design
Comfortable in a fast-paced high-ownership startup with long hours when the mission demands it
Nice-to-Have
Experience with sensor integration (IMU camera GPS) on drones robots or embedded platforms
Background in drone or UAV mechanical design
