In this role you will work with the development configuration and verification of control and protection functions for HVDC installations. Programming is performed in graphical function block environments for real-time systems where you build logic for regulation monitoring and protection.

You will work closely with system engineers test teams and site organizations in international projects and see your solutions tested verified and commissioned in real facilities. We value candidates who can see the bigger picture are curiousand eager to learn.

Since the role involves close collaboration with global project teams personal qualities will be important in the recruitment process.

How youll make an impact

• Develop control and protection functions

• Work withreal-timeapplications for control systems

• Simulate test andverifyfunctions in a laboratory environment

• Participatein system testing factory system tests (FST) and commissioning

• Troubleshoot and improve control logic and functionality

• Documentfunctions and system solutions

• Collaboratewith system network and site teams

Your background

• An outgoing and communicative personality with the ability to collaborate with both customers and external teams

• A post-secondary education in electrical power engineering electronics automation or equivalent

• An interest in control systems control theory and real-time systems

• The ability to work in a structured manner in technically complex environments

• Very goodcommunication skills inbothSwedish and English

In this role you will be based at our office in Ludvika Sweden. We require high attendance at the office as it facilitates our way of working. For long periods it is close to 100% attendance that applies especially in our test phase.
