At Etteplan were looking for experienced software engineers and architects who want to shape the technical direction of modern cloud-native and full-stack solutions. Youll work with customers across industrial technology IoT and digital product development helping them turn complex business challenges into scalable maintainable and future-ready systems.

In this role youll combine architectural thinking with hands-on technical expertise working across cloud infrastructure backend services APIs and modern frontend applications. Together with developers stakeholders and customers youll make the technical decisions that lay the foundation for successful products and long-term business value.

Your role

As a Cloud & Full-Stack Software Architect youll play a key role in shaping the technical direction of modern software solutions. Working closely with customers development teams and other stakeholders youll help translate business needs into scalable maintainable and future-ready architectures.

Youll combine strategic thinking with hands-on technical expertise guiding architectural decisions across cloud infrastructure backend services APIs and modern web applications. Depending on the assignment you may drive software modernization initiatives design cloud-native solutions support product development teams or help customers navigate complex technical challenges.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Defining and driving software architecture for cloud-native and full-stack solutions
• Designing scalable backend services APIs and integrations
• Supporting the development of modern frontend applications and user experiences
• Making architectural decisions that balance business needs performance security maintainability and cost
• Driving cloud adoption and best practices within AWS and modern cloud environments
• Supporting development teams through technical leadership mentoring and architectural guidance
• Collaborating with customers and stakeholders to translate requirements into sustainable technical solutions
• Contributing to engineering excellence through architecture frameworks development practices CI/CD and automation
• Evaluating emerging technologies and identifying opportunities to improve products platforms and ways of working

To succeed in this role we believe you have:

• Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong experience with at least one backend language such as C# Java or Python
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks or libraries such as React
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Experience working with microservice architectures
• Experience with cloud platforms preferably AWS
• Practical experience with Git CI/CD and containerisation technologies such as Docker
• Professional fluency in both Swedish and English written and spoken

It is considered a plus if you also have experience with:

• TypeScript Django or similar full-stack technologies
• Architecture modelling frameworks such as UML or ArchiMate
• Domain-driven design and event-driven architectures
• Infrastructure as Code including CloudFormation or similar tools
• Security patterns such as mTLS and OAuth
• IoT or industrial digitalisation projects
• AI-assisted development tools and agentic AI concepts
