Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager IT Infrastructure to oversee and maintain our clients enterprise IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing servers virtualization platforms network infrastructure security systems and end-user support while ensuring high availability performance and security of IT operations. This role requires strong technical expertise leadership capabilities and a hands-on approach to infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage configure and maintain Windows Active Directory Windows/Linux servers and virtualization platforms (VMware & Hyper-V).
- Administer and troubleshoot network infrastructure firewalls system backups disaster recovery and database environments to ensure business continuity.
- Provide technical support for servers desktops laptops network connectivity and end-user IT issues while ensuring optimal system performance.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure security reliability and compliance with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to implement infrastructure improvements and support IT projects.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Network Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in Systems Administration or IT Infrastructure within a medium to large-scale enterprise environment.
- Strong expertise in Windows & Linux server administration Active Directory VMware Hyper-V networking Microsoft SQL Server and firewall technologies (Palo Alto/Fortinet).
- Professional certifications such as MCSE RHCE/RHCA CCNA or CCNP will be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work under pressure and support critical infrastructure when required.
- Experience with HCL Domino and IBM AIX environments will be an added advantage.
