Station Process Excellence Manager

To continue to drive process excellence within our Last mile Delivery business we are currently looking for an Station Process Excellence Manager.

As an PEx (Process Excellence) Manager you will drive process standardization on site. You will be the link between station management and the PEx team. As a member of the PEx team itself you will contribute to the optimization of the delivery stations operations providing station with sufficient knowledge and appropriate tools to improve performance. Your goal is to solve complex problems with simple and practical solutions by developing a deep knowledge of the operation processes. Creating effective communication plans to provide visibility to all impacted teams of the organization will help you to enable overall process alignment.

Key job responsibilities
- As firsthand contact for station management regarding process improvements and benchmarking you will work on effective change processes and contribute to network standardization via best practice sharing.
- You are in charge of monitoring the logistics and delivery success through set in station and on road performance indicators. You will set up actions plans and execute them to drive current performance to benchmark rates.
- In this position you are a key driver for successful order execution thus positively influence our customer satisfaction.
- You will contribute to audit initiatives and support results-driven action planning the deployment of Process Standard implementations and upgrades within the delivery station partnering with station management and several stakeholders.
- Ensure station management understand benchmark rates and are trained in technical configurations to drive accurate reporting and productivity boosts.
- During peak time you will have the responsibility for the day to day management of a Delivery Station providing leadership to Operations Supervisors Operations Assistants and Delivery Service Providers managing external agency relationships and performance.

This role will be based in the delivery station. You will need to be willing to work in non-traditional shift patterns which include nights.

A day in the life
As a Process Improvement Manager youll be at the forefront of making Amazons logistics better which means improving safety productivity and quality. Part of your role will involve running observations and audits to identify where processes could be enhanced. Another part of your role will be recommending changes and using your project management and stakeholder management skills to put new processes in place.

Youll be based at one of our sites and accountable for positively influencing operational efficiency at the site. If needed you will carry out analysis at other local or national sites. On top of dealing with productivity and safety youll have the opportunity to share best practices and ideas with our EU this role youll use data to drive improvements and continue to grow our shipping capabilities.

- Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in Math Engineering Science or Business
- Experience working in a supply chain transportation project management or management consulting role
- Experience with project management
- Experience using Excel and data analysis
- Experience working with multiple groups of stakeholders
- Speak write and read fluently in Spanish and English at C1 level or above

- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience implementing process improvements
- Knowledge of analytic tools
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL
